How you will learn
You can work your way through this qualification along an organised step by step path. This can be done with a mix of work books and on line materials with recognition of your prior experience and learning (RPL) where applicable. If you are already working in management, and in HR in particular, you may qualify for all or part of this Diploma through recognition of your existing skills. You receive personalised attention from your teacher all the way through your qualification whether it be by recognition or study.
Graduates will complete the program with skills and knowledge recognised by business professionals in small and large organisations across a wide range of industries. This is a Nationally Recognised Qualification.
Pathways to further learning
Diploma graduates can undertake further study in a range of other qualifications including Advanced Diplomas or degrees. A Diploma gives you a tertiary entrance score of ~83 (OP 9) which provides entry to a wide range of degrees. Many universities offer credits up to one year for this Diploma.
This course usually takes a year for those who have little work experience, but students with experience in the workforce can complete it in less time if they choose to accelerate their learning. The maximum timeframe is 2 years. Students with experience in the area and qualifying for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) can complete in a matter of weeks.
There are no specific entry requirements for this qualification, with the exception that students who have English as a Second Language must have an IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent.
To obtain this qualification, students will complete 9 units. There are six core units and they are:

There are many other units which can be processed through recognition of your existing skills which may substitute the above electives. We will discuss what is best for you, with you, and develop an individual training plan before you to commit to enrolment.
Fees for all qualifications are clearly displayed on our website. AQI works hard to keep these affordable. Where there is recognition that you already have the required skills the fee is reduced.
This qualification is nationally recognised and taken from the Australian BSB Business Services Training Package.
